Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, 3Generations of Perfection, derived from a meeting in Mrs. Ella Mae's kitchen. Ella Mae is my grandmother, and is known all over Charlotte for her sweet delights; and has been known for years! Now at age 78, the demand is still there but it's becoming a little harder everyday for my grandmother to keep up with the orders coming in. With that said, I suggested to my grandmother that we make her hobby a family business! I told her, "Baking that good should not be limited to just us and those who have been buying from her for years, and should be available to sweeten the lives of people outside her circle." My grandmother loved the idea of a family business because it gave the opportunity for bonding, and also because she has always wanted to do something special with her talent in the past. Her only condition was that she was always in the kitchen when the baking was going on so that she could make sure that everything was done right!
My name is NeClea Coleman and experiencing my grandmother's cakes, pies, and cobblers all my life has given me the urge to be in the kitchen also. As soon as I was able to be in my own kitchen, I began to bake like a mad woman! I soon became the one expected to bring the desserts to all of the functions and get togethers in my circle of friends. When baking cakes I use all of my grandmother's recipes that have been either written down, have come straight from her head, or are right out of that old cook book that she just will not pass on! With the help of my mother, Pamela Coleman, 3 generations came together and began to map out a business plan. Not even a month later all was agreed upon and 3Generations of Perfection was born!
Although our business is new and just getting started, there is over 60 years of baking experience behind our products. We are a family oriented business and strive to put a little bit of our love in every home.
